What is Chakra?
Chakra is often explained as a spinning vortex of energy, meaning wheel in Sanskrit. Chakras are active at all times whether we conscious or unconsciously aware of them. Carl Jung referred to the chakras as the “the gateway of the consciousness”. Each Chakra is a wheel like vortex of pure energy that is associated with a specific realm of human experience. The chakras are thought to vitalise the physical body and to be associated with interactions of a physical, emotional and mental nature. They are considered of life energy or prana, also called shakti, qi (Chinese; ki in Japanese),koach-ha-guf[22] (Hebrew), bios (Greek) & aether (Greek, English), which is thought to flow among them along pathways called nadis The function of the chakras is to spin and draw in this energy to keep the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health of the body in balance.

Our body consists of two levels- The gross and subtle energies.
The gross level is consisting of seven dhatus-flesh, bone, clay, fat, blood, marrow, fluid and the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and space. And the subtle level is consists of 5 levels of being: vital life force energy (prana)., mind (manas), intellect ( buddhi), and feeling self (chitta) Prana is the basic energy of life and exists in everything such as your body, nature, animals, food and air, and also the energetic exchanges within you have with other people and the environment, it activates all of the cells and system in the body, .
Prana is distributed through the body by channels (nadis) and help the human organism connected in gross and subtle form. These nadis channels are connected to the main channel in the center of our bodies which in Sanskrit called Sushumna, beside is the left nadis (Ida) and right nadis (pingala) . In Tantra and Yoga Sutra, there are total 72 000 nadis in our bodies. The 3 main and important nadis are the above 3 nadis. Sushumna the center channel is operating on the spinal column where our chakra system residing. Energy influenced by the 5 elements moves through the chakra by prana and creates different psychic state. Chakra is a main energy centre of our body that manage our body as a whole receiving, incorporating and disturbing life force energies throughout the body. There are many chakra points in the body but on Energy Healing we focus mainly on the main 7 chakras that are closely connected with our vital organs and endocrine systems.
Each Chakra governs an organ and its function. It is also connected to our emotions, feeling, health and wellbeing. . The chakras are not physically visible in the body, even though they are closely connected with the endocrine system; you cannot see them but some are able to feel them through a energy healing or meditative state. The Chakra needs to function properly so to allow etheric energy to flow through freely, balancing your mind, body and spirit and giving you completely harmony and bliss.
Each Chakra needs to be able to receive energy from outside, to incorporate that energy and transform for body and mind development internally and externally it expressed the energy out such as knowledge, wisdom, peace, compassion and love etc. In a balance Chakra system, the receiving and giving of energy is always in balance. When our chakras system is balanced we enjoy good health. However, it can be out of balance by many things such as poor diet, negative emotions and thinking, stress, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, unhealthy relationship, illness traumatic event, and busy lifestyle such as overwork or after a hectic travelling. Environmental influences such as after visiting a negative places or countries, live or stay in a place influence by electrical energy field and geopathic stress, pollution and bad air can also upset the chakras.
